Matte colors- The new fashion craze I just LOVE!

I haven't blogged in a while, and I really miss sharing my ideas.  For those of you who don't know, I am a Mommy now! My daughter Shea, is now three months, almost four and I am absolutely crazy about this little girl.  She melts my heart everyday and I can't believe she's mine to keep.  Well, I share her with my husband of course!

This weeks blog is about Matte! Matte for your eyes, matte for your lips, matte for your cheeks and matte for your nails.  Below are some of my fave matte cosmetics on the market right now.

Matte is just basicly, flat color opposed to shimmer or gloss.

Matte for your cheeks.  I picked up this product at Ulta, it came in a set with a natural lip stick, a black eye liner, matte blush & and a contour/ highlight powder duo.  I haven't used the blush yet, but I love the bronzer.  It's by Purminerals and it's my first time using any of their products.  The lip stick is also pretty cute.

It was $29.99 (which I thought was a good deal considering you get four things).

I like the highlighter a lot because it has two colors and you're able to contour your cheeks nicely without having to buy two colors.

Matte for your nails- Now I always go for OPI or Essie for nails because they seem to last the longest, but they are a bit pricely.   But I have to say I am really liking the Loreal paris, new set of matte colors.  They have some really chic ideas for your mannies right now.  Here's a picture of the set I like and a link to their site, where they show you how to do a cute mix and matte blue nail that I just love!

Next is matte for your eyes.  I really, really, like Two Faced Matte eyes.  First of all, Too Faced is an awesome make-up line.  It's pretty rare for me to try a product from Too Faced that I don't love.  This palette is perfect for a day look, or you can transform it into a night look.  There is nine colors with a velvety finish,  (which I love) leaving your eyes looking  fresh and young.  There is also some cards included in the package with ideas for a few looks you can choose from this palette.  You can get this product at Sephora, Ulta or Too Faced.com.  It will last for a while and you can use the base colors for your other shadows.  This product will set you back $36 dollars, but it's so worth it!

Good night and sweet dreams!
Love,
ME!
